A little bit about me...
I am a software development student at Green River College with a passion for building clean, user-friendly web applications. I enjoy solving real-world problems through code and have hands-on experience with technologies like React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Java, and Docker.
Previously, I worked as a Backend Engineering Intern at Spotify and a Full-Stack Intern at Green River College. I've developed admin panels, integrated AI chatbots, and contributed to research tools used by institutions like The Ohio State University. These experiences taught me the value of precision, collaboration, and writing scalable, maintainable code.
Outside of tech, I enjoy outdoor sports, coffee, event planning, and exploring innovative ideas with diverse teams.

Projects
RateMyCourse
RateMyCourse is a modern, full-stack web application that allows users to browse, review, and discover golf courses across the United States. Inspired by platforms like RateMyDorm, it features user authentication with Google and passwordless email login, a responsive UI, and dynamic data pulled from Firebase Firestore. Users can view popular states and courses, and leave or read reviews — with support for user dashboards and post management.
Salamander Tracker
Built a full-stack ecological video processing pipeline in collaboration with The Wilburn Lab at The Ohio State University. This research tool detects salamanders in wildlife footage using binarization, centroid tracking, and Java video processing, exposed through a React + Express interface. The project supports researchers in studying amphibian behavior over time using Dockerized microservices and CSV-based tracking data.
Green or Not
Green or Not is a web application designed to assess the sustainability of products sold on Amazon. It works by scraping product detail from Amazon pages and calculating a sustainability score based on eco-friendly keywords and recognized certifications. A custom tree image visually reflects the products “green” score, helping users quickly gauge the environmental impact of a product.
